Intelligentsia International has an offshore office located in Dushanbe, capital of Tajikistan, a small mountainous country in Central Asia. Given that Tajikistan is among the poorest countries in the world, we have been in steady effort to bring clean drinking water to impoverished people there, raise awareness by educating locals, create online based information resources for monitoring water related issues, bring together decision makers from local government, businesses and international development organizations.

With launching TajikWater.net, we have stepped up the challenge of creating universal water resources information portal for Tajikistan. Organizing information, connecting involved professionals, monitoring in critical manner decisions and providing summaries of related news are just few of this website objectives.

Journalists, engineers and others interested in covering water related stories in Central Asia, interviewing decision makers, learning about existing policies, summarizing information in organized manner for public etc. are welcome to apply for this challenging program.

This assignment is NOT located in Florida, but in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. Occasionally harsh conditions associated to living in developing nation must be considered, however this is what one has to expect when preparing for a career in development sector.
